TESTING AND ANALYSIS

Muzna group offers a wide range of services in the field of testing, applied research, and product evaluation, with a specialization in the technology of interconnection. Our goal is to foster a complete understanding of your components’ performance under conditions they will face in the field. This awareness may be generated through consultation, testing, or applied research. This could take the form of general product evaluation, or be designed to concentrate on specific areas of interest. In other words:

When you know what’s going into your product, you know what you can expect to get out of it.

ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING SERVICES

Offering a full suite of environmental services, We conducts thorough and effective environmental testing to evaluate the susceptibility of specific failure mechanisms as they may occur on electrical connectors, sockets and components for the Telecommunication, Military, Computer, Automotive and consumer industries. Our wide range of environmental testing available includes Mixed Flowing Gas, Humidity, Temperature, Salt Fog, Dust, Thermal Cycling, IP Testing and many others meets needs of the electronics industry to establish a baseline for quality and performance. We also offer plating analysis including testing for plating thickness, porosity, and solderability.

Included in our responsibility to carrying out your testing needs includes proper test and sample preparation including thorough cleaning(if required), sample mounting to test boards, and custom fixture design/build to ensure that our tests are accurate and reliable. In addition, we can design special tests and procedures as needed, and provide all supporting documentation for every test we conduct.

MECHANICAL TESTING SERVICES

Muzna group provides a wide range of mechanical testing services that enables us to serve clients across a variety of business types, including computer, aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, telecommunications and military. We supply full supporting documentation for each test performed including base test rationale. In addition to standard industry tests, we design specialized testing and evaluation procedures that would evaluate the mechanical attributes that are of interested and determining the susceptibilities to certain failure mechanisms (such as Fretting Corrosion).

ELECTRICAL TESTING SERVICES

Muzna group provides a wide range of electrical based testing services that satisfy clients across a variety of business types, including aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, telecommunication and military. We supply full supporting documentation for each test performed. In addition to standard industry tests, we can design specialized testing and evaluation procedures that would evaluate the electrical attributes that are of interest.

Our services include a full range of electrical based tests including but not limited to baseline resistance, near continuous resistance monitoring, high speed tests, power and signal tests.

FAILURE ANALYSIS TESTING SERVICES

As a provider of failure analysis services, Muzna group provides a full range of capabilities, including root cause analysis, design consulting, technical support, and supporting documentation including comprehensive full data sets. Root cause analysis tests that we conduct include fretting evaluations that address evaluating for fretting corrosion, as well as electrical testing and surface analysis (such as SEM, SAM, FTIR, etc.). Our failure analysis process involves full and detailed research, including collection of the failed components and their history, visual inspection, surface analysis, evaluation of correct testing procedures, and testing processes with analysis. We then provide all documentation, with a conclusion and recommendation for a future course of action.

Our testing preparation is very detailed and involves, cleaning, designing and procuring test boards, and design of fixtures. We can test for several failure characteristics including corrosion, cracking, embrittlement, overload, wear, and more. Much of our failure analysis is carried out for the telecommunications industry, but we also serve the aerospace, electrical, commercial, computer, and electronics sectors.
